Along with reaching the lost around the world, partners like you, and a powerful ministry family at GTC, one of our greatest blessings is watching God continue to work in our 4 children (not kids anymore) their wives and husband and 9 amazing grand-children.
It is such a treasure to see them apprehend the call of God for their lives and watch our grandchildren discover their gifting and place in God.

Our children were raised on the TC Mission field, home schooled on a Teen Challenge Choir bus, as we traveled full-time 6 months each year almost 65,000 mile, coast to coast from 1981 to 1993. Their lives are a testimony to the keeping power of Jesus. When so many told us, "Leave TC, if you raise your kids with drug addicts, they will become drug addicts." We trusted the promise of God who had called us together to this mission and saw God at work in each of their lives. We truly love all our girls and boys . . .

Bernie IV is a 2002 magna cum laude graduate of University of Valley Forge with a degree in Pastoral Counseling (specialized ordination) minor in Music. He is married to Sara for 16 years and is a pastor at LightHouse in Gloucester, VA. Sara is a full time teacher, mother and works with the children's ministry at LightHouse.
He and Sara are the parents of Natalie (grade 7), Bernie-5 (grade 5) & Lucas (grade 3). All three of them have followed the Lord in believer's baptism and Natalie works with the worship team and in the nursery. B-5 plays drums in worship for his dad. |
Natalie is playing middle school field hockey and Bernie and Lucas are both playing basketball and baseball on rec league teams coached by their dad. Unfortunately in their last game before Christmas, Bernie fractured his wrist at the growth plate, so please pray for him (and his parents.)

Chris is a 2003 magna cum laude graduate of University of Valley Forge with a degree in youth ministry and minor in music. He is married to Nia for 13 years and is a pastor and director of the Edge Youth Department at Christian Life Center in Bensalem, PA. Nia also serves in a key administrative capacity for Chris and other pastors at CLC with a focus on design and creativity.
Chris & Nia are the parents of David (age 7, grade 2) and Evangelia Grace (age 5 in Kindergarten). They love to move, bounce and tumble and Evie especially loves to dance. We so enjoy watching the kids' work in their Kids' Kraze musical productions and they have a real heart for the Lord.

Pete is a 2004 cum laude graduate of University of Valley Forge in Pastoral Counseling/Counseling Psychology. He is pastor of Worship Arts and Technology at Calvary A/G in Frederick, MD. Pete is married to Jessica for 14 years. Jess is also on staff, leads worship with Pete, and serves in many other capacities. They are the parents of two active little boys, Ethan (age 5 in homeschool PreK-4), and Daniel (almost 4) and a sweet and sturdy little girl, Zoe(16 months) whom they are raising to love Jesus. Pete also coordinates outreach. |

Rebecca is a 2007 cum laude graduate of UVF with degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education with a minor in Youth Ministry. She is married to Michael Stemen, a wonderful man of God, for nine years.
They were ministering in Florida and have now settled in at Ft. Wayne, Indiana with our youngest grandson, Jonathan, He is a bright and talkative three year-old. (He's 3, ask him, he'll tell you! They live TOO far away. (Ask Nana Cathy, she'll tell you!) But seriously, they are right where God wants them and Becky is working with Women's Ministries at their church and Micheal continues his work for the Lord as well as working as a computer consultant.
